GetYourGuide and Yelp Latest To Join Reserve with Google (RwG) Marketplace

Reserve with Google is a new functionality now rolling out for Google Search and Maps. It allows local businesses to integrate schedule data and a booking button onto their Google my Business listings. Eleven new companies have recently joined the growing roster of Reserve with Google connectivity partners, set to make all manner of local service providers bookable on Google. This includes GetYourGuide, Ticketmaster, Yelp - among others. The total number of participating connectivity partners is now 75, spanning different industries including dining, beauty, events, wellness, and tours.

GetYourGuide has now joined TripAdvisor, Peek, FareHarbor, Tiquets, Musement, Rezdy and other traveler-focused bookable activities marketplaces and solutions providers. Ticketmaster’s entry further points to Google’s ability to go after the live events market. Eventbrite is also a Reserve with Google partner. Yelp users can reserve restaurants and local services on the site. Yelp Reservations, the feature, costs businesses US$249 per month. Connecting to Google will help Yelp preserve this portion of its business, as competition between scheduling partners heats up.
